During the past decade there has been an absolute explosion in culinary treasures to tempt and delight every palate, every epicurean persuasion! "Ummm...yum" are now words that regularly roll off the lips of Portland Oregon - Vancouver Washington Metro Area diners as they explore the huge variety of cafes, bistros, restaurants, and brewpubs which now grace the region's food, wine, and micro-brew scene. From the trendy to the traditional, for the gourmand or the gourmet, the Portland area is absolutely ripe with fabulous and fun places to savor, quite simply, "good eats" and brews!

Most of those listed are Portland restaurants -- it is after all much larger than Vancouver -- while Vancouver restaurants and some in other Southwest Washington communities are included as well. And with Portland just a short drive across the Columbia River -- downtown Portland is only a 15-minute drive from downtown Vancouver -- all these great restaurants can be quickly and easily accessed by Clark County Washington homeowners and residents as well as Portlanders.
